GOT CCG is an open game, that is, one where anyone can submit artwork to be included in the game, and, of course, have this available to anyone for download. The cards have not yet been created, and this will take some time to complete. I am creating them using Mosaic. First public release of the rules on 26.04.2008.
LicenseThe name "Gardener of Thoughts" and the artwork are free only for personal use; they may not be freely used for commercial purposes. Everything else (like the rules, the card attributes and lore) is released under a Common Sense License. Much of the lore is derived from these quotes.
RulesHere are the rules of the game.
ArtworkArtists who want to submit artwork (made by them) in digital format, for use in the GOT CCG, can contact me. Pictures must be sharp and colorful, unless the presented scene requires fuzziness or monochromatism. The artwork must be professionally designed and rendered. Pictures with a resolution less than 1'000 pixels (on any axis) are not accepted. Pictures resized from a lower resolution than this are also not accepted. The picture aspect ratio (width / height) should be 1.5, but large variations are accepted. If the name of the artist is present in the picture, it must not spoil the pleasure of looking at the artwork. It's preferable to put the artist name in the "Identifier" area of a card. You can find below each artist's name and the artwork he submitted. The pictures will be freely published only with all the information of the cards on them. |
