AxiomaticTokenizer (including all related tools) and all the associated source code is released under a Common Sense License; more clearly, the source code is public domain. However, the name "AxiomaticTokenizer" remains the property of a single legal owner. Because of this, the license terms for everything which involves the name "AxiomaticTokenizer" are clearly explained in this page. In other words, if you eliminate the name "AxiomaticTokenizer" from the all these programs (including from the source code and from the documentation), you can use it all under the Common Sense License. If you don't eliminate it, you must respect the following license terms. For details, you can find contact information here.
Legend"AxiomaticId Entity" = The entity formed by the people who work with and on AxiomaticTokenizer, who has exclusive rights over the "AxiomaticTokenizer" name. The current legal owner of the AxiomaticId Entity is George Gabriel Hara. "Owner of AxiomaticTokenizer" = The AxiomaticId Entity. "Internal name" = The name which is used inside the source code of AxiomaticTokenizer, and which is never presented to users / public, but may be presented to developers. The internal name is used for namespaces, type names, object names, etc. "Presentation name" = The name under which AxiomaticTokenizer is being presented / promoted to users / public; this may include using the name for sale of services. This is not related to the internal name.
IntroductionAxiomaticTokenizer may be installed and used on as many computers as desired, for both personal and business purposes, for unlimited time. Distribution of AxiomaticTokenizer is encouraged as long as all installed files are included and not altered in any way. You may charge any kind of fee. The source code of AxiomaticTokenizer is open source. The name AxiomaticTokenizer is not source code and thus the name AxiomaticTokenizer has strict usage terms, as specified in the following sections of the license terms. You may make copies of AxiomaticTokenizer and distribute such copies to others within your (employer's) organization provided that all recipients have had the opportunity to review and agree to be bound by these license terms. If the recipients within your organization do not have the opportunity to review and agree to be bound by these license terms, but you would still like to distribute copies to them, you may do so provided that you have the legal right to bind your organization (and the people within your organization) to these license terms.
Commercial distributionYou may sell the program (source code or binary) under the name AxiomaticTokenizer. This includes the case when you sell something (like computers, or like an Electronic Money Transfer System access account) and you bundle AxiomaticTokenizer with what you sell.
Changed programIf you make changes to AxiomaticTokenizer (to the source code, to the binary files, or to the associated documentation), you may not use the "AxiomaticTokenizer" name to present your program; however, you may use "AxiomaticTokenizer" as an internal name, for example, in your source code. Also, you may not use the name "George Gabriel Hara" to present your program. You may not use the name "AxiomaticTokenizer" to imply that the program you distribute is in any way endorsed by the AxiomaticId Entity. You may say that your program "uses parts of source code from AxiomaticTokenizer", but you may not say that the program you distribute is AxiomaticTokenizer's successor (or ancestor). You are under no obligation to specify where you got the original program or source code from. If you want to sell AxiomaticTokenizer with your logo in it, under the AxiomaticTokenizer presentation name, you have to make an offer to pay us for branding. This branding is non-exclusive. If you make changes to AxiomaticTokenizer and want to distribute it, even only inside your own organization, you must replace the AxiomaticTokenizer presentation name with another name (which must not contain the word "AxiomaticTokenizer", like "AxiomaticTokenizer Fork"). The purpose of these restrictions is that anyone who interacts with your system must clearly understand whether the AxiomaticId Entity has developed it or not.
Source code If you want to distribute the source code, and you modify it, you must either clearly specify so in each modified file (by saying something like "This program includes parts of AxiomaticTokenizer"), or you must remove the AxiomaticTokenizer presentation name from the source code and from its associated documentation.
Private source code If you make changes to AxiomaticTokenizer and you distribute it, if the source code of your program is not public, you may still say that your program uses parts of source code from AxiomaticTokenizer.
Authenticity The authenticity of AxiomaticTokenizer is determined by verifying its associated digital signature. However, it's possible that in some cases a full binary comparison (to the original files) may be necessary. The original files may be found at "www.axiomaticid.org".
IntegrationsIf you integrate this standard, even if only parts of it, you may so specify. Please specify if you leave out some features.
Compatibility claimsIf you develop a token processing service, you may not claim or imply that your system has been verified for compatibility with the AxiomaticTokenizer Standard, by the AxiomaticId Entity.
DisclaimerThe AxiomaticId Entity disclaims any responsibility for any harm resulting from your use of AxiomaticTokenizer in contradiction to the instructions provided to you in these license terms, in AxiomaticTokenizer's documentation and during your conversations with us. If you feel there is an error in the instructions provided to you, please contact us so that we can clarify the issue.
The AxiomaticId Entity does not offer you a guarantee that AxiomaticTokenizer will protect the accounts which are protected with tokens, with 100% certainty. There are various ways other people may gain access to your accounts, like: lack of care while handling your passphrase, social engineering, spying, use of threat and force by criminals against you, brute force and dictionary attacks against hashing and encryption algorithms and against user passphrases, hardware failures, software failures (due to programming mistakes). AxiomaticTokenizer is designed to counter as much as possible of these risks, but we do not offer you any guarantee that your accounts will be out of the reach of determined criminals. The AxiomaticId Entity will never ask for the passphrases with which you protect your accounts. If in spite of this you still send your passphrases to us, you are subjecting yourself to the risk of losing your exclusive control over your accounts.
If the laws of the place you are legally bounded to are in contradiction with these license terms, DO NOT use AxiomaticTokenizer. We deny any responsibility for your use of AxiomaticTokenizer against the laws of the place you are legally bounded to. You are the only one responsible to know and follow the laws of the place you are legally bounded to.
AxiomaticTokenizer is not fault-tolerant!
ServicesThe only paid service provided by the AxiomaticId Entity is the integration of the information of various service providers into AxiomaticTokenizer. It does not provide any other kind of services, like support or integrations, paid or free. However, feature requests and bug reports are analyzed.
EndThese license terms constitute the entire agreement between us and you, and supersede and replace all other agreements between us regarding the license terms of AxiomaticTokenizer. Any waiver of any provision of these license terms are effective only if they are digitally signed by the AxiomaticId Entity. |
